To become a theoretical astrophysicist, you start by getting an undergraduate degree in physics. You follow that with a graduate degree (PhD) in astrophysics.Thus your path is clear, you must take science after 10th, and study ALL physicsand lots of maths. Study these well, if you don't you will not be good enough to be successful. (Of course, there are always exceptions!)...☺

I would suggest that go for 11th and 12th taking PCM and after 12th plan fir graduation degree in astrophysics from a reputated college.
