To understand and remember the GK,focus on story behind the topic instead of data.
For example if you are reading history, take it easy as a story like why Britishers came to India,how they rule over India.Dont make stress on mind to remember the data.

1) Find videos,movies related to the topics.you can find easily on YouTube.
2) Read newspaper
3) Map would help to understand the geography.
4) You can use Wikipedia or Google to find more information like images.
