Answer :-

Mass :- It is the fundamental property of a body which is the matter contained in it.

  • Mass is a scalar quantity.

  • Mass can neither be created nor destroyed.

  • Mass of a body is always remains constant in any place.
  • It's SI unit is KG.

Weight :- It is a force by virtue of which a body is attracted towards the earth is called weight.

  • It is a vector quantity.

  • It can be change when we go to other planets.

  • It's depend upon the mass and gravity.

  • It's SI unit is newton.

Weight can be written as.

\boxed{\sf{W = m. g}}

The weight of body on Mars is changed because the gravity is different in different planets.

The weight of body on Mars is changed because the gravity is different in different planets.But mass remains constant.
