What is the Big Bang theory?

Hi friend,

This question belongs to one of my favorite fields of interest.

So basically,the Big Bang is the highly supported theory of the origin of the universe . It states that the universe began from an initial point which has expanded over 
13.8 billion years to form the universe as we now know it.

It depends on two major assumptions: the universality of physical laws and the cosmological principle.

The Galaxies are not stationary But are moving away from each other at a great speed. Therefore, our universe is not stationary But expanding.

It means that the universe must have been very small in the beginning and at some point in the beginning; Some event must have happened when the universe started expanding. This event is called Big- Bang ..
