the Big Bang theory is the leading explanation about how the universe began. At its simplest, it says the universe as we know it started with a small singularity, the inflated over the next 13.8 billion years to the sosmos.
The Galaxies are not stationary But are moving away from each other at a great speed. Therefore, our universe is not stationary But expanding.
It means that the universe must have been very small in the beginning and at some point in the beginning; Some event must have happened when the universe started expanding. This event is called Big- Bang
