hey
________
Neils bohr when he saw rutherfords theory he was not covinced
•if a charged body is in motion it radiates energy, electron which is moving around the nucleus , it continuously looses energy and hence it moves closer to the nucleus and collides with the nucleus
•rutherford atom was not able to explain the stability of the atom
•he gave his atomic model in 1930
•a/q to him electrons move around nucleus in definite orbits , in this particular orbits, they revolve without loosing energy
•the electrons who are closer to the nucleus are attracted with greater force, and who are not closer are attracted with lesser force
•it requires fixed amount of energy to move the electron from its nearer position from away the electron
•he gave a formula 2n^2 to calculate the no of elactrons in the shells
hope helped
