There are different definitions of democracy by the different scholars who have tried to interpret this word in their own languages .
The broader meaning of the democracy can be a belief in political freedom and equality which is its true spirit.There are different countries in the world which are democratic just by the name otherwise there is hardly any freedom on the grounds of humanity keeping all other things like religion,geographical location ,culture etc aside.The real representatives of the democracy are the people and if the same people are not given any freedom under laws then the meaning of democracy is hardly understood .
