Causative agent of aids(Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome)is HIV (Human immunodeficiency virus)

Preventions are:

1. Knowing your HIV status as well as your partner's

2. Limiting the number of sexual partners.

3. Abstaining from injectable drug use and never sharing needles are syrings.

4. Reducing the chance of becoming infected by obtaining pre-expore prophylaxis(PreP),which is a daily pill taken by people at high risk of HIV because of their sexual behavior or from injected drugs

5. seeking treatment immediately after suspended HIV exposure , since newer medications known as post-exposure prophylaxis may prevent infection if started earlierly .
