Have you heard of the Battle of Kohima? I lives in the region where one of fierce battles against the Japanese force were fought. After their defeat it is said that Subhash Chandra Bose boarded a plane in Myanmar for Japan. His plane might have crashed or he might have died in Taipei, Taiwan while undergoing treatment for injuries or the tuberculosis he which he suffered from.
It will remain a mystery to historians. But I believes his plane crashed and was never found. If he reached Japan safely, some records must exist and found by now.
