Is it a result of continuous violence in Balkans ?

yes the balkan states (pomania ,bulgaria,albania,bosnia,montenegro )were under the control of ottomon empire . shortly after the french war ottomon empire fell and the balkan states were free but powers like prussia austria etc wanted to occupy these due to this the whole place became explosive and lead to conflicts these conflicts lead to first world war
