ex:- when we ride bicycle then the road apply a force which is agaist our cycle... so we have to paddle for run against the force....

The causes of this resistive force are:
- Molecular adhesion.
- Surface roughness.
- Deformations.
Intermolecular forces are responsible for friction. Roughness of the surface also contributes for friction.
