friction

1) when brakes are applied the grooves of the tyre come in contact with road and generate friction it causes release of heat energy

2 ) when we jump our clothes get rub with air molecules and generate friction and release energy in form of heat

Answer:

When brakes are applied on our fast moving car, the brakes produce heat due to friction. People often jump up and down in cold weather to feel warm because the body produces heat while jumping, this heat keeps them warm. When we apply brakes in a moving car heat produces due to friction.
