The uncollected waste accumulates in the urban areas causing unhygienic conditions and releasing pollutants that leach into surface and groundwater. Sewage discharged from cities, towns also pollute the water. we also pollute the water by submerging deities in water in the name of religious practices. we also use pesticideswhich pollute ground water which is the purest form of water. if we arent careful very little water would be left.
