The central idea of this poem is about the dreams of the author. he has to leave his mother and her love to catc his dreams. In his part he wants his mother to be calm as he is leaving to fight the battles. He is telling that he is grown enough now to find his own way. He want to touch and hear dangers. All the way he wants to.tell that he has to find his dreams all the way but has to go away from his mother. And atlast he tells his mother that he will love her all the way.

Answer:

The central idea of a poem is the poem's theme or 'what it's about' if you like. Although many shy away from poems being 'about' something, at the end of the day, the poet had something in mind when it was written, and that something is the central idea, whatever it is or might have been.
