First of all we have to understand that what is center of gravity.

Our earth attract all object whether it is point object or lump object with a force which is given by the law of gravitation.

Now cone is made of a large no of point object, these point object are attracted by earth ie. on each and every point force acts by earth. Now take the vector sum of all the forces then resultant force acts on a specific point and that point is called the center of gravity.

In case of right circular cone, its center of gravity is on line of altitude and is at H/4 distance from the base where H is the altitude of right circular cone.
