A) Lorenzo is a christian fellow . He is a unemployed youth. He is a loyal lover. He is true to his word which can be revealed from his elopment with Jessica. In Act II sc(vi) when Launcelot hands him a letter from Jessica he says that he will not fail her. He was true to his word and finally eloped with Jessica. He is disrespectful towards Shylock. Racial discrimination is revealed here.He always addresses Shylock as Father Jew /A Jew.
He is a very bosom friend of Gratiano and never hides anything from him. He is also a very good friend of Antonio as well as Bassanio. He is responsible which can be revealed from Act III sc(iv) when Portia tells him that she commits into his hands the manage and husbandry of her house until her and Bassanio's return ,without any hesitation he takes over the duty.
