Rizwan is a young journalist who desperately needs a job to support his family.
Although he is educated, his life is in no way better than that of Kasim's.
Back home his mother was ill. Both his brothers had to drop out of school after the sad demise of his father.
His family depends on him and he needs money to sustain them, as well as himself.
He also seems to be quite rude due to the manner in which he approaches Kasim.
His financial crisis and problems have indeed made him quite numb. In the head he decides to leave everything to destiny and hopes to find a way out of his prison of miseries if he lives.
