the chemical formula of plaster of paris is c a s o4 . 1 by 2H2O. it is prepared by gypsum salt.. when the Plaster of Paris is mixed with water it for me gypsum. plaster of paris is used for making the statue and monument. it is also help in the setting of fractured bone. hope that you will understand
