what is the chloralkali process give two uses of NAOH obtained from this process​

The chloralkali (chlor-alkali) process is an industrial process which is used in the electrolysis of NaCl. This process is used in the production of Chlorine and NaOH (sodium hydroxide/caustic soda), which are important chemicals used in the chemical industries.

Uses:

1.It is major ingredient in drain and oven cleaners.

2.It is used in chemical manufacturing, oil refining, hydraulic fracturing, water treatment and metal processing.
