Coalition government is a type of government where involved parties generally have no pre-pollince, but political mathematics force them to do same, for forming government. As the partnership is not always based on ground of moral or philosophy, all are power hungry and try to get maximum benifits from the government. The PM is handicapped in taking string decisions as that may lead agitation even breaking of the government. It needs lots of patience and intelligence along with soberness and possible common minimum program accepted by all the constituent parties.
However, countries with bi-party system do not face coalition government problem, as people have only limited choice to vote either party.
