what is the color when methyl orange is added to nh4oh(amonium hydroxide )​

It shows red colour in acidic and yellow colour in basic medium. Electrolysis of brine or sodium chloride solution produces sodium hydroxide, NaOH which is a strong base. Using methyl orange as an indicator gives a yellow colour solution for NaOH.
