HEY!!
_________________________
✔Zinc is silvery grey metal
✔Zinc is more electropositive than H + ions present in the sulphuric acid.
✔When it comes in contact with H + ions in donates electrons, which are accepted by H + ions to form H atoms.
✔H ions combine to form hydrogen gas.

zinc is green when freshly cut because oxygen reacts with it and it gets oxidised.
Zinc is a metal while dilute sulphuric acid is an acid. we know that
a metal reacts with acid to produce salt and hydrogen gas. So zinc reacts with dilute sulphuric acid to produce metal salt of zinc that is zinc sulphate and hydrogen gas.
