Red               - Plastic wastes such syringes, injections, IV tubing and IV bottles

White (Puncture proof bag)             - Sharps such as needles, blades, cutters  

                                                          that may cause puncture or cuts

Blue                - broken or discarded and contaminated glass, medicine vials,

So the color of container for needles is White and IV sets is Red.
