to find :

  • commen difference

Solution :

d1 = -4

d2 = 3

d3 = 10

d4 = 17

so,

d2 - d1

= 3 - (-4)

= 3 + 4

= 7

d3 - d2

= 10 - 3

= 7

d4 - d3

= 17 - 10

= 7

The commen difference is 7

Extra formula's :

t_n = a + ( n - 1 ) d

S_n = n/2 [ 2a + ( n - 1 ) d ]

S_n = n/2 ( a + 1 )
