Hey!!!!

Good Morning

___________

We have

=> a23 - a18 = 45

We know an = a + (n - 1)d

=> a + 22d - (a + 17d) = 45

=> a + 22d - a - 17d = 45

=> 5d = 45

=> d = 9

Thus the common difference is 9

___________

Hope this helps ✌️

Given, a23 - a18= 45
⇒ a + (23-1)d - [a+(18-1)d] = 45 [∵an = a + (n-1)d]
⇒ a + 22d - a - 17d = 45
⇒ 5d = 45
∴ d = 9
which is the required common difference of an AP.
