Given :- a24 - a17 = - 28
a24 = a + 23d
a17 = a + 16d
a + 23d - ( a + 16d ) = - 28
a + 23d - a - 16d = - 28
7d = - 28
d = - 4
a24 = a + 23d
a17 = a + 16d
a + 23d - ( a + 16d ) = - 28
a + 23d - a - 16d = - 28
7d = - 28
d = - 4
