HEYA!!

COMPLEMENTARY ANGLES ARE THOSE ANGLES WHICH HAS THE SUM OF 90°

FOR EX 40 AND 50 THEY BOTH ARE COMPLEMENTARY TO EACH OTHER BEACASUE THWIR SUM = 90°

COMPLEMENTARY ANGLE OF A ANGLE IS 90- THE NO. GIVEN

= 90°-53°
= 37°

THEREFORE IT HAS COMPLEMENTARY ANGLE = 37°

<u><b>Complementary angles are those angles which have the sum of 90°. For example, 60° and 30° or 45° and 45° make the sum of 90°</b></u>

Question => What is the complementary angle of 53°?

Solution => Sum of two complementary angles = 90°

So,

90° - 53° => 37°

\therefore{} The complementary angle of 53° is 37°
