This equation can't be solved by completing the square method because coefficient of X square is 1 and when we divide it to the whole equation we get the same equation.

we solve simple by factorisation method:-

➪ {x}^{2}  + 6x + 7 = 0

➪ {x}^{2}  + 7x - x + 7 = 0

➪x(x + 7) + 1(x + 7)

➪(x + 1)(x + 7)

➪x =  - 1 \: and \:  - 7
