What is the concept of great and small circles

: A Great Circle is a circle which is drawn on the Earth's surface in such a way that the center point of the Earth and the Great Circle is the same. The radius of the Great Circle is equal to the radius of the Earth. All the Great Circles divide the Earth into two equal halves.
