What is the concept of‘ ‘Report-writing’ ? Explain the ‘Layout’ of report writing.

  • List the contents in the order they appear.
  • Number the section headings/sub headings, pages.
  • Each section should have an appropriate title.
  • List appendices.
  • List illustrations/figures (separately if there a lot)
  • Start with the introduction as number 1.
  • Write this page at the end

     Reports can be academic, technical or business related, and feature recommendations for specific actions. Reports are written to present facts about a situation, project or process and will define and analyze the issue at hand. Reports relay observations to a specific audience in a clear and concise style.
