conductor-it transfers good amount of heat and energy.

semi conductor-it it supplies but not properly heat and energy like conductors.

insulator-it do not transfer heat or energy .

hoping that my answer helps you and I will get a chance to answer your next questions in future.

☸FORMULAS:-

conductivity= 1/resistivity

resistance= resistivity × (length/area)

=> conductance= conductivity ×( area /lenght)

=> conductance=1/resistance

=> conductivity is inversely proportional to resistance
_____________________________

conductivity is also the property of the matter to allow the passage of electricity through it
_____________________________

so....

☸CONDUCTOR
these are the materials that allows the passage of electricity through it
=> conductor have high conductivity
=> low resistance

☸INSULATOR
these prohibits the flow of electricity through itself
=>so it has low conductivity
=> high resistance

☸SEMICONDUCTORS
these are the materials which behave as insulators under normal conditions of temperature and pressure...
but when we increase the temperature or add impurities (called doping)..the electrons get energy (or becomes available) and behave as conductors
=> it has low conductivity under normal conditions of temperature and pressure
=> but when temperature is increased to a certain value they have high conductivity

hope it helps you....
