the condition of women before the revolution are as follows =
1) most women of the Third estate had to work for living.
2) they worked as a seamstress, sold flowers or were employed as a domestic servants.
3) did not have access to education or job training.
4) working woman have to take care for their family and look after their children.
5) their wages were lower than men
6) demanded same political rights as men
7) they started their own political club and newspapers. about 60 women club came up in different French society

after revolution

a. Women were not granted political rights and were still considered to be passive citizens.
b. They organised groups, clubs in order to voice their views, demanding equal set of political rights, right to vote.
c. Some efforts were made to improve the conditions of women, like laws were made related to marriage, divorce was legalised, schools were set up , schooling was made compulsory for girls.
d. It was only in 1946, that women were given right to vote.
