Hey Mate

The main conditions for Buoyant force that it is applied by liquid only when object is under water not in surface. Buoyant force doesn't act on Surface of water .
And the other conditions that the density of object should be lesser than density of liquid.

That's

Hey mate. ..
Here is your answer. ..
The tendency for an immersed body to be lifted up in a fluids due to an upwards forces that acts opposite to the action of gravity is called buoyancy.
1. upthrust is more than weight of body , body will not sink or it immerses partially.
2. Upthrust is equal to the body and body immersed completely and floats and its appartent weight is zero .
3 . weight of the body is more then the upthrust, the body will sink in the liquid and goes down in the water with an acceleration ( a = w- f÷ m ) , neglecting the viscus force of the liquid. .
