Vishwanath Kashinath Rajwade (1863-1926) was a scholar, writer, historian and orator.
He belonged to Maharashtra and was popularly referred to as Itihasacharya V.K. Rajwade.
His contribution to historiography is immense.
He went to almost all villages in Maharashtra, and all around India to collect Sanskrit Manuscripts and papers containing information about Marathas, which were later on compiled and published in twenty two volumes.
