The PAU, in Punjab has playing major role in honey production, as it contributes over 37% of honey production in our country.

EXPLANATION:

Honey bees are very much important to our country, as it indirectly affects the crop production positively. It yields to higher crop production through the pollination of crops, seeds, etc. PAU plays major role in mass honey production in India. Earlier, in year 1962, it introduced Italian bees in Indian farmers.  

Thus the bee development got massive growth which in turn leads to mass production and export. PAU is contributes over 37% of mass honey production in our country. Thus it becomes a mass honey producer.
