The Contribution of Science and Technology to Production. Economists have long recognized that knowledge is a factor of production, and even the most important factor, given its role in labor quality and the design of capital goods.

Basically everything in the world follows a rule and the true aim of science is to find these rules and make it comprehensible to the human mind .To find the true influence of science in your society you have to look around yourself. Everything is either a result of science or works on a scientific principle. In this manner science can be divided into two: one branch which tries to explain the phenomenon which has already happened and predict the future phenomenas. The best example of such a kind is the theory if relativity. The other branch is one which continuously trying to invent things that could make human life better. Both this contributes greatly towards society. To understand the true essence of science you have to just think how you asked this question. The question and how you typed the words are explained by biology, while the rest is only possible due to several inventions in science. But like everything science also has a evil face. Several disastrous events has occured as a by result of equation that rules the current world(e=mc^2).Even GPS works properly only if the theory used is special theory of relativity. If anything else is used then our position will be uncertain within about 50 miles. Science is not a branch of anything…it is actually the ideas that occurred in the human mind. The validity of each idea can be proved through the language of nature and and the language of humans. Whenever a theory proves to be right it produces a result that can improve human life in one or the other way. And for all these years these improvements provide an inspiration to remember what we have achieved and for future innovations.
