What is the correct formula of t-distribution?

1) t=x-m/(s/√n)
Or
_
2) t=x-m/(s/√n-1)
My teacher told me to do 2nd option..
But in my when i look at internet there are both 1 and 2 has been used so which one is perfect plz say
