What is the correct formula to find the hyperconjugated structure?
Please Answer as early as possible .

For example,

In a structure of a compound, if the carbon is attached to another positively charged carbon (in case of carbocation's ===> carbon carrying positive charge) , then that carbon is known as \alpha - carbon (alpha carbon) .

Whereas, the hydrogen attached to that \alpha- carbon is known as \alpha - hydrogen.

Now, to find the no.of hyper conjugated structures,

We should add 1 (+1) to the no.of  \alpha -hydrogen's

Example: no.of alpha hydrogen's = 3

                Then no.of hyper conjugated structures = 4
