1 dozen bananas = 12 bananas

1 dozen bananas = 12 bananas2 dozens bananas = 24 bananas

Let the cost of 24 bananas be Rs.x

4 / 18 = 24 / x

4x = 24 × 18

4x = 432

x = 432 / 4

X = 108

Answer:

The costs of 2 dozen bananas is Rs.108

Step-by-step explanation:

As per the data given in the above question,

The cost of 4 bananas is Rs18

1 dozen of banana means 12 Numbers.

We have to find the cost of 2 dozen banana,

To know the cost of one banana divide the cost of total given banana by total number of banana,

=\frac{18}{4} \\=\frac{9}{2}

Hence the cost of 1 banana is Rs.\frac{9}{2}

Now the cost of 2 dozen bananas is,

=24\times \frac{9}{2}

Now 24 is divided by 2 we get 12,

=12\times 9\\=Rs.108

The costs of 2 dozen bananas is Rs.108
