GIVEN :-

Length of the plot = 500m

Breadth of the plot = 200m

TO FIND :-

The cost tiling the plot if rate is 10Rs per 100m²

SOLUTION :-

Area of the plot = L × b

= 500m × 200m

= 100000m²

Now Cost of Tiling = 10/100m² × 100000m²

= 10000Rs

Therefore, cost of tiling the plot is = 10000Rs.

Hence, Solved.

Answer:

rupees 10000

Step-by-step explanation:

As it is a rectangular plot

* And we want to find its area because we have to tile the plot.

So by the formula Area of rectangle = l*b

Now substituting the values

Area = (500*200)m^2

= 100000 m^2

Cost of tiling = cost per 100 square metre * * total area

Substituting the values

(10*1000) rupees

= 10000 rupees

Hope this helps
