What is the cost of tiling a rectangular plot of land 500 metre long and 200 metre wide a rupees 8 per 100 square kilometre

1 km = 1000m

Length of the plot = 500m = 0.5km

Breadth of the plot = 200m= 0.2 km

Area of the plot = 0.5×0.2 = 0.1km^2

For 100sq.km ,cost of tiling = 8 rupees

For 1 sq.km , cost of tiling = 8/100 rupees

For 0.1 sq.km ,cost of the tiling = 8/100 × 0.1

= 0.008 rupees

Its an odd answer....but since in the question sq.km is mentioned therefore answer is this
