➡A salt formed between a weak acid and a weak base can be neutral, acidic, or basic depending on the relative strengths of the acid and base.

➡If Ka(cation) > Kb(anion) the solution of the salt is acidic.

➡ If Ka(cation) = Kb(anion) the solution of the salt is neutral.

Answer:

Explanation:

A salt is formed by rxn. of an acid and a base in a neutralization rxn.

when a salt is dissolve in water a solution is formed.

salts from strong bases and strong acids are neutral. salts from strong bases

and weak acids are basic. salt from strong acid and weak base are acidic.

acidic  - from weak bases , NH4+ , Al3+ , Fe3+ , and pH is < 7

basic - from strong base : group 1 , group 2, but not Be2+ and is pH is >7

neutral - from strong bases: group 1 , group 2, but not Be2+ and is pH is =7
