Criterion for classification of organisms belonging to kingdom Monera:

(i) These organisms don't have a defined nucleus or organelles, nor do any of them show multicllular body designs.

(ii) Some of them have cell walls while some do not have.

(iii) The mode of nutrition of organisms in this group can be either by synthesizing their own food(autotrophic) or getting it from the environment (heterotrophic).

(iv) This group includes bacteria, blue-green algae or cynabacteria, and mycoplasma.

Explanation:

The main criteria for the classification of the kingdom monera and protista are the presence and absence of a defined nucleus and cell bond organelles. Monerans do not have a true nucleus and cell bond organelles, whereas protists have nuclei bound in their own nuclear membrane-bound organelles.
