there are two parallel combinations so on solving that we will get

1ohm and 1ohm from both

then we will have three resistors and they are 1 ohm , 1 ohm ,and 2ohm

on solving it we'll get 4ohm.

now formula for I = V/R

so I = 1.5/40

= 3/8

= 0.375

rainaebad47: Thq
rainaebad47: But i think the answer isn't right
rainaebad47: Cuz when the parallel combinations are solved, we get 1 ohm and 1 ohm seperately
rainaebad47: Nd after that only these two would be added cuz they are in series but the third resistor of 2 ohm is in parallel
rainaebad47: So, 1+1=2
rainaebad47: Nd then 2+2/2*2= 1. So net resistance is 1 ohm
