Article 370, that provided special status to Jammu and Kashmir and also a separate set of laws, has now been abolished. The entire state has now been divided into two Union Territories- Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.

Now, they do not have any special provisions. Single citizenship, tricolour flag, Article 356, Article 360( Financial emergency), RTI, reservation for minorities are now applicable for them as well.

Additionally, non-residents of Jammu and Kashmir will be able to buy land there, and also the duration of the Union Territory will be for 5 years.
