Answer:

'Article 370' acknowledges the 'special status of 'Jammu and Kashmir' in terms of autonomy to form laws for the 'state’s permanent residents'. Currently, on '5 August 2019' 'Home minister 'Amit Shah' announced in the Rajya Sabha that the 'president of India' had 'issued the constitution under 'article 370' superseding the Constitution' ('Application to Jammu and Kashmir') order 1954.  It means this article 370 is scrapped.

The article gives a “temporary provision” inserted on 17th October 1949 giving special powers to the state of 'Jammu and Kashmir' making it possible for them to decipher their own constitution. However recent protests had led to its questionable existence and therefore made it possible to erase it formally.
