Answer:

Csa of cone =pi r^2 +pi rl

= pi ×36+pi ×3×14

Pi ( 36+42)

78 pi

78× 3.14

Answer:

The curved surface area of the frustum come is 2904 mm square.

Explanation:

Given : Frustum of cone whose bigger diameter 12 cm and smaller diameter 6 mm and slant height 14 mm?

To find : What is the curved surface area (C.S.A.) for frustum of cone?

Solution :

The curved surface area of frustum cone is given by,

CSA=\pi l(R+r)

Where, l is the slant height l=14 mm

Diameter if bigger cone D=12 cm=120 mm

Radius of the cone R=60 mm

Diameter if smaller cone d=6 mm

Radius of the cone r=6 mm

Substitute value in the formula,

CSA=\frac{22}{7}\times 14 \times (60+6)

CSA=22\times 2 \times 66

CSA=2904 mm^2

Therefore, The curved surface area of the frustum come is 2904 mm square.
