concave lens is the diverging lens and is thick in the middle and thin at the edge and is used for myopic eye. convex lens is a converging lens is thin at center and thick at edges and is used for hypermetropic eye

cancave lens are thicker at the edges whereas convex mirror are thicker at middle and thinner at edges. concave lens are also called diverging lens whereas convex are called converging lens.

first about concave
reflecting surface is curved inwards but in convex it's curved outwards
image formed is real, inverted except when object is close to mirror whereas in convex image formed is virtual and upright
image is either enlarged or diminished but convex image is diminished
