The defects of the visions in our eye is the problems or hindrance in the regular working of the eye. It is of many types.

But in Physics, We only study two types of Visions. These are ⇒

1. Myopia.

2. Hypermetropia.

Now, 1. Myopia ⇒ It is also called as Short - sightedness. It is the condition in which the light does not converge on the Retina, but in converges before that only.

There are two main causes of its, they are ⇒

1. Distance between the Cornea and Retina becomes large.

2. Lens become more convex.

It can be corrected by using the Concave lens.

2. Hypermetropia ⇒ It is called as Long sightedness. It is the condition in which the light does not converge on the Retina, but in converges after that only.

There are two main causes of its, they are ⇒

1. Distance between the Cornea and Retina becomes small.

2. Lens become more concave.

It can be corrected by using the Convex lens.
