Hello dear friend ,
Magnetic induction refers to the induction of magnetism in magnetic field or the flux (phenomena of change in magnetic field lines) which are set by the magnetic force of any magnet.
In other words , it can be understood as the generation of the electromotive force / voltage across the conducting body by the effect of changing magnetic field lines (flux).
Hope this helps!! thankyou and goodluck!

Electromagnetic or magnetic induction is the production of an electromotive force across an electrical conductor in a changing magnetic field. Michael Faraday is generally credited with the discovery of induction in 1831, and James Clerk Maxwell mathematically described it as Faraday's law of induction
